Call family in Africa when they do not have internet
In many places — rural towns, older handsets, or simply expensive data — family cannot stay on WhatsApp all day. That does not mean they cannot reach you.
Call requests: designed for basic phones
With FamilyCall, a relative can dial a local access number, hear a short phone menu, and select who they want. FamilyCall notifies you by SMS and email. They do not need:
- A smartphone
- Internet or Wi‑Fi
- The FamilyCall app
- WhatsApp or social media
You call back on your schedule using the dialer and calling credit — or whenever you are free.
Where this works today
Launch family destinations are Nigeria and Kenya. More African countries are planned when we can provision and test numbers honestly. We will not mark a country Live until the corridor works.
