What is FamilyCall?
FamilyCall helps families stay connected across borders. Today, relatives in Kenya can request a call without an app or internet—and family in the USA get notified so they can call back.
Does my family member need the FamilyCall app?
No. The person requesting a call in Kenya only needs an ordinary phone. The FamilyCall account is for the person abroad who receives requests and calls back.
Does the person requesting a call need internet?
No. They dial the FamilyCall Kenya number from any phone—no smartphone, app, or data required.
How does a call request work?
Someone in Kenya dials FamilyCall, hears a short menu, and presses a digit for you. FamilyCall creates a request and notifies you. You open the app and call them back when ready.
Which countries are currently supported?
Kenya ↔ USA call requests are live in beta. Direct calling and additional countries are coming soon.
Who receives the notification?
The FamilyCall account holder you configured—typically family in the United States—via SMS, email, and a brief phone alert when available.
Can I call my family directly?
Direct calling through FamilyCall is coming soon. We’re testing international routes and pricing. Today’s product is call requests for Kenya ↔ USA.
How much does FamilyCall cost?
Every account includes 5 free call requests. FamilyCall Premium is $4.99/month for additional monthly request capacity. Direct calling credits are not sold yet.
What happens when I reach my request limit?
You’re not permanently blocked. Premium includes a monthly allowance; when those are used, you can buy extra request packs. Included requests reset each billing period.
Which countries are coming next?
We’re preparing Nigeria, Cameroon, Ghana, Uganda, Canada, and the United Kingdom—plus direct international calling—once numbers and pricing are ready.
